Destination Branding Specialists

Key Challenge:

Establishing a clear brand position and promise that communicates what distinctly sets this
county apart from other Florida coastal and popular tourism destinations and Uniting 5 unique county areas that include towns, beaches, mainland and
seaside attractions, freshwater lakes and a bay were two significant key challenges we set out to tackle on this branding project.

Project Storyline:

Gulf County Florida provides a unique Florida experience that’s more laidback and peaceful with abundant and unspoiled natural resources and beauty. Their beaches are more unspoiled and secluded than other more popular destinations throughout the state. Yet visitors who know the area don’t come to Gulf County, they come to St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe or Cape San Blas.

Nature is a major attraction here with miles of untamed coast, towering sand dunes, maritime forest and abundant wildlife, and sustainability and preservation of the natural environment are priorities. It’s not the place to come for a high-energy, action-packed vacation, but activities, such as kayaking, paddling, fishing, hiking, cycling, scalloping, wineries and breweries, retail shops and boutiques, fresh seafood restaurants and waterside dining appeal to many looking to get away from more commercialized destinations.

We created a brand that positioned Gulf County with its exceptional natural beauty and fascinating
history as one of Florida’s most intriguing places to visit for those seeking a truly relaxed environment to
kick back in and have fun.
