Key Challenge:

How do you reinvent your town and preserve what is precious at the same time? A few years after a tragic tornado devastated much of their downtown, city leaders set out to cast a new vision and rebuild. A challenge to identify the city’s brand personality and voice was needed to infuse into everything moving forward.

Project Storyline:

Ennis, TX is a short 45-minutes south of Dallas, and well known for being spotlighted annually during the month of April when hundreds of miles of beautiful Texas bluebonnets are in full bloom. After all, Ennis is the Official Bluebonnet City of Texas and home to the Texas Bluebonnet Trail. Not only do thousands of visitors flock to see this sight, the locals throw one heck of a party. And although the bloom of the flower is a little more than 30 days, the festive and friendly attitude it creates fills the town 365 days a year. Ennis decided to tell its story of hospitality and family through it’s equity in bluebonnets and everyone’s love of Texas. The down-home family hospitality of Ennis is the “The bluebonnet spirit of Texas.”
