We set out to address the following challenges: 1) Getting county residents to understand and care about the county’s under-the-radar
civic services and programs and 2) Giving county residents and business owners a reason to be proud and supportive
of the work done by the county.

The people who work for the Allegany County Government and its numerous departments are the ones who positively impact the lives of residents, workers and visitors every day in many ways that are seen, felt and manifested throughout the local communities.
